Hello Campers, Parents, and all future Lakota Families. Boys Camp Upstate NY Catskills, sits high atop the Wurtsboro Hills in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. We are situated on 200 of the most beautiful acres of land. Our magnificent Masten Lake with its sandy beaches and diverse waterfront sports has helped make Lakota a family tradition for 90 years. Founded in 1924, and built on the grounds of an historic Sullivan County Estate and Hotel, Camp Lakota has been under continuous family ownership since its beginnings. Indeed, Camp Lakota has always been about family, and has been providing nurturing, safe, and exciting summers for co-ed campers for over 90 years. Our campus radiates out from the original estate mansion that was built in the early 1900’s. We now use this building as our Arts & Crafts center. Summer Camp Upstate NY!
Each day we have seven activity periods, three in the morning, three in the afternoon and one after dinner. We have one elective in the morning, one in the afternoon, and after dinner is called Free-Play Plus. This way each camper gets to specialize in the areas they love.
Of our four scheduled activities we also make sure each bunk has a fun, well balanced schedule. We make sure that each bunk is scheduled daily for the waterfront, an art activity, a sport, and a specialty activity, like Zip Line, horseback, waterskiing or go-carts for example.
